Dr. Chun is nationally certified by the Accreditation Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. He is recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive surgery and has conducted several conferences and seminars for his peers on advanced surgical techniques. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at the John A. Burns School of Medicine and is the Clinical Director of the Minimally Invasive Surgical Laboratory for resident doctors in training.
Dr. Chun has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis associated infertility. Endometriosis is often an overlooked disease that can be a significant factor in the cause of infertility. Through his treatment, especially his laparoscopic surgical skills, Dr. Chun has helped many of his patient become successfully pregnant.
To continue providing the most advanced medical and surgical therapies for his patients, Dr. Chun is an active member of professional medical societies including the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Society for Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and the American Association of Bioanalysts.
